Boot password: cat

Click the question mark beside the boot password field. It asks for Lily's favourite animal, and the desktop wallpaper supplies the clue. Enter cat.

Study Guide: kite runner

Change the background on Lily's blog. The home and About Me sections then expose a hidden link whose emoji clue decodes to “my favourite book”. Scroll to the start of the irislovesdogs chat to find the title they mention, then type kite runner with the space. Do not enter BOOK — that describes the clue, it is not the solution the game accepts.

Would you rather read the hint before the answer?

Palster email and password clue

  1. Open Lily's inbox and read the Palster registration email: [email protected]. Those are zeroes in 088, not letter O.
  2. In Drafts, the hint tells you to combine her crush's name with her cat's age.
  3. The crush is Alex. The blog says Dumpling came home as a baby in 1993, and the email dates from 2004: 11 years.
  4. The player-written Steam guide reports the candidate alex 11. Exact capitalisation and spacing have not been independently checked here, so try the plain lowercase form first.
If you cannot find the blog at all, click New Tab in the in-game browser. A Steam discussion confirms that was the missing step for one player.

Answers were checked against the demo build (live since June 2026) and player-written Steam threads. lily's world XD released on 17 September 2026; if a password block changed in the full release, this page will say so rather than guess. Send corrections through the contact page.
